Significance. This is significant because no matter what situation you, or somebody else is in, and you r them are crying, I will remember this book. It is sad and its reality. Some one right now is probably in the same exact situation that  Ian and Sammy were in. They were hurt, by people, and hurt by things, and hurt by words as well. And when they were hurt, they would cry. It can happen to any one. Even if it wasn't supposed to, it happens. It's just like the Social Justice Issues we talked about in class.

Image: (Sorry, I couldn't find a better one. It was hard to find to boys tired, not in a home, and I couldn't do homeless, because that didn't work.   

Significane: This image is significate to the this part of the story Skate because the author, Micheal Harmon said Ian and Sammy are really tired from doing all the running that they were doing.  So, this picture shows Ian and Sammy tired, from running from the cops.

Significants: The importants of a list of names is that this list was key to allowing Ian not go to Juvie. If the list wasn't stolen he would have been charged with various crimes. The list was basically a hit list to kick or expell people out of the principals school if they got bad marks.

S. This is significant because Ians mom does drugs, and that drugs is the bad things that made their life so messed up. Drugs is what the author is trying to tell us not to do, so that we wouldn't be a bad person, so that we wouldn't go to jail, and that we wouldn't put the bad things before the good.

Significance:  The reason why a paper with writing on it is important to this section in the book is because when Ian's couselor starts reading off all the illegal incidents Ian had caused, he realizes that becuase of the things Ian had done, he knew he had ruined his life right before his eyes.

Significance:  I picked this because it is a man standing under a streetlight at night.  This related to the story because   Ian and Ben are under the streetlight, just them too, and they are smoking in the middle of nowhere.  In my opinion I think two boys should not be out that late.

Significants: This image is significant to the passage because this is when Ian and Sammy found their dad as the manager of the prison ward and he put's Ian in Juvie to serve his time after he comforts them and feeds them.

Significance: This picture is significant to the text because a tear shows sadness,hardships, and sometimes pain. This picture shows that Ian had felt pain in his life when he saw that his father had moved on, and already had a new family. Ian knew that his father wouldn't go back, and try to take him and Sammy back.

Significance: I picked this picture because Ian and Sammy had to work out in the man's barn for food, water, and a blanket on their trip to find their dad.

Significance: This is significant because Ian thought that if he turned himself in, he would go to jail, and that Sammy would have to go to a foster care. Ian did not want to go to jail and did not want Sammy to go to a foster care.

They are depending on their feet to take them where they need to go (Walla Walla). Feet are helping them in every way they possibly can.

Significant's:  This picture is significant to the story because this is when Ian and Sammy are desperate for water and are dying of thirst, so Ian thought of the briliant idea of sucking the frost off pine needles for water.

        Author: Michael Harmon The reason why a scrapped garage is important to the book Skate, is  because when Ian's and Sam's Mom has a guy over they always have to slepp in a scrapped garage just outside the house with no electricity or food.

This image is significant to the text because this is when Ian and Tony were trying to avoid pushups while whispering in Gym class. Sadly they got caught while whispering by their coach and Tony didn't have to do any pushups from his "supposed" strained arm, but Ian however had to do sixty of them.
